Lauren Wilson
Lauren has been an avid horsewoman for 20+ years. Along with her husband, Hunter, they own and operate Margaux Tip LLC which specializes in the breeding, showing and promotion of the Cleveland Bay breed. Lauren is an active rider in many areas such as the Hunter/Jumper ring and foxhunting and can be found riding in “A” Circuit shows such as the H.I.T.S Circuit in both Florida and Virginia, Devon and The Uppervile Horse and Pony Show. Lauren strives to continue to learn and teach others in the sport she so deeply loves.
Dickcy Boutelle Gibson
IDickcy has over 30 yrs. experience with a successful career in show jumping, 3 day Eventing, breaking and training race horses, and racing over brush and timber. As a junior, she was the leading junior rider and won Penn. National twice. Winner of the 1983 Olympic Selection trials for 3 Day Eventing, she went on to be short listed for the 1984 Olympics. Dickcy has trained under such greats as Jack Legoff (U.S. 3 Day Coach), and Bengt Lunquist (U.S. Dressage Coach). In 1974 she was invited to the Stronsholm Swedish Riding School to study dressage and the training of young horses. Her varied career includes training and competing many successful horses for 3 Day Eventing, show jumping at various levels as well as Fox Hunting and Hunt racing. Additionally, she has ridden internationally; competing in the Jumper circuit in New Zealand, and buying, selling and Hunting (Fox, Hare and Stag) horses in Ireland. She has coached several Young Riders to qualify and excel for the Championships in 3 Day Eventing and jumping. Dickcy has not slowed down- more recently she trained a young horse that became 4-time Maryland Hunterpace Fast Time Champion, Handy Hunter and Jumper Champion, 3 Day Event Training level in his 1st year, all after her “tender age of 50”. Last winter she was in Amsterdam and Germany to find suitable horses for clients including trying horses at the Oldenburg Elite sale.
Tana Burkhart
Tana was born and raised in Berkeley County and has been associated with horses all of her life. She started out showing barrel racers and extended her abilities to Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, Jumping and Halter. She showed on the Appaloosa Circuit placing at the Nationals in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle , Halter, and Suitability for Dressage. She has instructed her daughters and numerous 4-Hers throughout the years. She has over 30 years show experience.
Carissa Crites Wilson
Carissa grew up in Moorefield, WV in the 4-H and AQHA show world. She was a member of the WV State 4-H horse judging team and later on was a member of Potomac State College’s livestock and horse judging teams. She is a graduate of West Virginia University class of 2008. She is a majored in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Carissa has coached the 2009 WV State 4-H horse judging team. She enjoys spending time with her young son Dillon and helping him with his horse interests.
