Dickcy Gibson


Nicole has been in the Equine Industry for 20 + years. She grew up on the family farm, where she learned the ropes of the eventing world. From there she has competed, trained, and sold several top quality sport horses, taught children the importance of horsemanship, and managed several large Equestrian operations. Aside from eventing, Nicole has also shown hunter equitation during college, and has been known to make an appearance in the dressage and jumper rings on occasion.
Nicole strives to produce quality horses and riders from the ground up, emphasizing the importance of good horsemanship skills.

Jared Miller

 

Jared grew up on his family’s cow/calf operation in Grant County. Jared attended Potomac State College of WVU earing two associate’s degrees in Animal Science and Pre-veterinary science before transferring to the main campus of WVU and completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences. Jared continued his studies and completed his Master of Science degree in Agriculture, Forestry, and Consumer Sciences. While continuing his Masters studies, Jared was asked to return to Potomac State to assist in managing the equine studies program. Jared has worked as an instructor in the Equine program since 2009. While under Jared’s management, the Equine Program at Potomac State has flourished. The Quarter Horse herd at the college now includes 30 head. Jared was instrumental in facilitating the donation of five halter horses to the College, including a reserve World and Congress Champion. Jared has attended various seminars on behalf of the college, including seminars of reproductive practices or horses and equine education. Jared also exhibits some of the college’s herd at various shows, adding AQHA points and expanding the name recognition of the Potomac State Equine Program.
